Why is my card charged $175 when I buy gas at a gas station?

When you use a Fluz virtual card at a gas station, an initial authorization of approximately $175 is temporarily held from your account to cover the potential cost of filling your tank.

Once you finish pumping gas, if the final amount is less than the authorized amount (e.g., $55), a refund for the difference (e.g., $120) will be issued to your original funding source after two days.

Initially, your account will show a $175 transaction and you will earn cashback on that full amount. When the refund is processed, the corresponding cashback for the refunded amount will be deducted, so your final cashback will match the net amount of your actual purchase.
