The QuickBooks Online integration connects your Fluz account to your QuickBooks Online company. You label each Fluz transaction with a category, vendor, memo and receipt, then send it to QuickBooks in one click or in bulk. Nobody has to retype it.
The integration is available on Fluz accounts enrolled in it. You connect QuickBooks and manage its settings on the Fluz website. Once it's connected, you can add expense details and sync transactions on the website or in the Fluz mobile app.
What you get
No double entry. Purchases, deposits, withdrawals, transfers and rewards arrive in QuickBooks as ready-made accounting records.
Your own chart of accounts. Fluz pulls in your QuickBooks categories, vendors and customers, so you pick from the same lists your bookkeeper already uses.
Receipts follow the transaction. A receipt you upload in Fluz is attached to the matching record in QuickBooks.
Cashback recorded separately. Cashback and other Fluz rewards are posted as income, separate from the purchase cost.
Less work per card. A Virtual Card can carry a default category and memo, so its purchases arrive in Fluz already labeled.
Who can use it
Enrolled accounts. The integration is available on Fluz accounts enrolled in it.
QuickBooks Online only. Other versions of QuickBooks aren't supported.
Owners and Admins. Only account Owners and Admins can connect QuickBooks, change its settings, categorize transactions for QuickBooks, or sync.
One-to-one. One Fluz account connects to one QuickBooks company, and that company can't be connected to a second Fluz account.
How information moves between Fluz and QuickBooks
Lists flow into Fluz automatically. Transactions go to QuickBooks only when you click Sync.
From QuickBooks into Fluz, automatically. Your chart of accounts (used as categories), vendors, customers and company name. These update when you connect, whenever something changes in QuickBooks, and when you click Refresh data.
From Fluz into QuickBooks, only when you sync. Each transaction you choose becomes one journal entry, with its receipt attached. Nothing is sent in the background, and turning on Accounting view doesn't start a sync.
What can be sent to QuickBooks
Fluz activity | Needs a category before syncing? |
Virtual Card purchases and refunds | Yes |
Gift card purchases and refunds | Yes |
Bill payments (and returned bill payments) | Yes |
Deposits (Add Money) and withdrawals | No |

Referral royalties and bonuses (cashback is recorded inside each purchase) | No (posted to the cashback income account) |
