Looking to make the most of Neighborhood Eats? This FAQ covers how to earn cashback, what qualifies, and what to do if something goes wrong. Be sure to check the list of participating restaurants before dining.


Is there a cashback limit?

Yes. Cashback applies to payments made up to $3,500 per transaction. Amounts above this may not earn rewards.


How is my cashback calculated?

Cashback is based on the final captured amount charged to your Fluz Virtual Card. This may include tips and fees if they’re part of the final amount. Pending or pre-authorizations don’t count.

When paying at restaurants (or other places where tipping is common), an extra 20% may be temporarily added to the authorized amount to account for the tip.

Please note that your cashback will be calculated based on the final captured transaction amount after any adjustments, not the initial authorization. Learn more about this here.


When will I receive cashback?

Cashback usually appears right after your transaction, but may take up to 10 business days.


Do I need a Fluz Virtual Card?

Yes. Cashback is earned only when paying with a Fluz Virtual Card via Apple Pay or Google Pay.


Why didn’t I get cashback?

This can happen if:

  • The restaurant or location isn’t participating (see Participating Restaurants)

  • You ordered through a third-party app

  • A non-Fluz payment method was used

  • The transaction is still pending

  • Multiple reward platforms were involved

  • The $3,500 limit was exceeded

👉 If your transaction meets all requirements and cashback hasn’t appeared after 10 business days, contact Fluz Support.


What happens if I get a refund?

Cashback may be reversed for refunds, adjustments, or chargebacks. Partial refunds may result in partial reversals.


Do tips count?

Tips may count if included in the final captured amount.
