Editing your virtual card
Where can I edit my virtual card settings?
To edit your virtual card details:
On the Fluz website, navigate to the Cards tab on the top navigation menu. Your virtual cards will appear by default.
Search for your virtual card by filtering the card type, card number, spent amount, card limit, date created, funding source, and status.
Click on a virtual card to open the Card details page.
Select the Edit button towards the bottom of the page.
From here, you can edit the card nickname, funding source, card limit, auto-freeze date, or freeze after next use.
Select Update Card or Freeze Card to confirm your updates.
Editing your card nickname
Want to keep your spending organized? Give your virtual card a nickname. Just enter your preferred name in the nickname field, then hit Save changes. Your new nickname will appear at the top of the Card details page and on the main Virtual cards page for easy reference.
Selecting a new funding source
You can update and manage how your virtual card is funded using the funding source selector. From this menu, you’ll be able to:
Toggle your Fluz balance on or off
Select or switch your linked bank account using the dropdown
If you haven’t added another funding source, Fluz will automatically use your Fluz balance to cover your transaction.
Fluz tip: New to Fluz? Link a bank account to avoid declined transactions. Your Fluz balance is the default funding source, and new accounts often don’t have enough funds to cover virtual card purchases.
Editing your card spend limit
Your card spend limit is the maximum amount you can spend with that virtual card within a given time period.

Changing your card’s auto-freeze date
What is an auto-freeze date? An auto-freeze date is the day your virtual card will automatically freeze to prevent any future charges. Fluz sets this date by default—even if you didn’t choose one when creating the card.
To change the auto-freeze date:
Scroll down to the Edit auto-freeze date option.
Select clear to remove the lock date entirely.
Or choose a Custom date by picking a specific day from the calendar icon.
Once saved, your new setting will take effect immediately.
Updating the lock after next use setting
You can also choose to lock your virtual card after its next use. This is a smart way to prevent unexpected charges, like recurring subscriptions. Just toggle the setting on, and the card will automatically lock once the next transaction is complete.
Deleting Virtual Cards
At this time, virtual cards can’t be deleted. You’ll still be able to view and manage them from your account.
