Why do I need to provide my Social Security Number?

You now have the ability to deposit funds into your Fluz account via Cash Balance Top Up. However, this requires Fluz to implement new AML/KYC measures as mandated by federal regulation to ensure we know the true identity of our users. As such, we will be asking for the following information:

  • Legal address

  • Date of Birth

  • Last 4 digits of SSN/ITIN

How do I complete Identity Verification?

I don't have a Social Security Number. Can I use an ITIN instead?

Yes, simply input your ITIN instead of your SSN when you are prompted. If you run into any issues during verification, please reach out to our Customer Team.

What if I'm an international user, or I don't have an SSS/ ITIN?

No worries! You may still continue to use Fluz, as long as you have a US legal address. Please complete verification by doing the following:

  1. Ensure you are using the latest version of the app. If not, download the latest version from the App Store/ Google Play Store.

  2. On the Fluz App, tap on your Wallet at the top left corner of your screen.

  3. Scroll to the right until you find Deposits.

  4. Tap on Get Verified on the right of your screen.

  5. Tap on Verify Yourself.

  6. Input your details.

  7. When you get to the "Verify your last 4" screen, tap on "I don't have my SSN or ITIN" below Continue.

  8. Follow the prompts to complete verification.

Why can’t I verify my legal identity? My SSN was not accepted.

If you are having issues verifying your legal identity, here are some things you can try:

  1. Make sure you are entering your full legal name as displayed in your driver’s license.

  2. Make sure you are entering your permanent address including apartment number, and not a temporary address.

  3. In case you have recently moved, please try your prior permanent address.

  4. Triple check that the last 4 digits of your SSN is correct.

  5. Before you try submitting again, please double check that all your information (date of birth, full legal name, address and SSN) are entered correctly.
