Fluz allows you to manage the information that you want to share with the public or to your network. Below are some ways to manage these settings:
How do I manage my post privacy settings?
Whenever you earn cash back, a post is generated on your public profile. To protect your privacy, we’ve given you control over who sees your cash back related posts.
Default post privacy settings
Screens depicted may not reflect the latest version of the app.
1. From the home screen, tap the Menu icon (your avatar) at the top right of your screen.
2. Tap on your profile name or image.
3. Tap on the Edit profile.
4. Tap on the Post Privacy Settings option
Here, you will also be able to update the privacy settings for all past posts in bulk.
Whatever setting you pick will be applied to all past posts that don’t currently match that setting.
Manage your post privacy before payment.
Fluz allows you to control who sees your posts before or after payment.
Adjust controls before payment by selecting your desired setting on the payment confirmation screen.
Adjust the settings of a cash back post after payment by finding the post on your profile and tapping the More button (...) located on the top right of each post.
Your privacy options
Public (More Engagement) – This post will be visible on your profile to everyone in Fluz.
Connections Only – Only your invite, network and following followers will see this post.
Private (Default) – This post will be hidden from everyone but you.
Please note that Fluz will never share important details such as your real name, the exact location of purchase, or the total purchase amount. Even with the lowest privacy settings enabled (public), the most that will be displayed in the purchasing feed is your customizable username, customizable avatar (user photo), time of purchase, and the total cash back earned from that purchase.
Will my network see my purchase details? Can I change my privacy settings?
Your direct inviter will not see your card information. Your credit card and payment details are kept secure at all times. Learn more about Fluz' security measures here.
Your inviter and those in your network may see your avatar, name as in "Linda J.", and your purchase details such as store and amount depending on your privacy settings.
