Here are some frequently asked questions about using bank payments on your Fluz App:
Can I pay using my ACH or Bank Account?
Absolutely! We encourage you to use your bank account (also called ACH) as your primary payment method on the Fluz App. When you pay with your bank account, you get at least 1% more cashback than if you were to pay with a debit card, credit card, or digital wallet.
Note: If you pay partially with Bank Payments and use your Fluz Pay balance for the rest of the amount, you only get the 1% additional cashback.
In the case wherein your ACH payment does not settle, your backup payment method will be charged for the same amount.
Fluz will never charge you twice for the same transaction. It is possible your bank has not yet reflected that the auth hold was released. Please wait up to 5 business days.
If it still hasn't fallen off yet, please reach out to our customer support and we'll be happy to check for you.
Why should I trust Fluz with my bank account?
We use MX to securely connect to your bank account. MX uses encryption and internationally-recognized security standards to protect your information.
I paid with my bank account or ACH, but my backup was charged for the same amount.
Since ACH payments, by nature take a few days to settle, the app will sometimes require you a backup payment method, just in case there are issues with the settlement of your ACH. If you are charged for both payment methods, please reach out to our customer support and we'll be happy to check for you.
How do I add a bank account as my payment or withdrawal method?
Linking a payment method will enable you to purchase gift cards on the app while linking a withdrawal method will enable you to withdraw your Fluz Balance. Here's how to add your bank account so you may do so. Please note that we only accept checking or savings accounts.
Tap on the Menu (your avatar) icon on the top right of your screen
Tap on Accounts & Cards
Tap on Add new at the bottom of the screen
Tap on the green + sign beside Bank Account, then follow the app prompts.
I'm trying to connect my Bank Account but I can't find it.
Our 3rd party bank connecting system, MX, has an extensive list of partner banks and financial institutions. If you do not immediately see your preferred bank on the list, you may search for it in the search bar.
If it still does not appear, please try adding another bank account or connecting another payment method.
Don't worry, as MX grows, its partner list is continually being updated. It's only a matter of time until your bank is included, too! We recommend checking your app from time to time, as your bank may have already been added.
How do I remove my bank account as a withdrawal method?
Tap on the Menu (your avatar) icon on the top right of your screen.
Click on Accounts & Cards
Scroll down to Connected Accounts.
Select the bank account you wish to remove, then tap on Remove.

What are overdraft fees?
An overdraft fee is a charge from your bank when you do not have enough funds to cover a transaction. Instead of declining a transaction, the bank opts to complete the transaction and will charge you an overdraft fee for covering that amount.
Many banks charge a fixed amount for an overdraft fee, although some banks do not charge at all.
Most banks have an opt-in overdraft program wherein they will pay for certain overdraft transactions and charge a fee.
You could also be charged this fee if you link your checking account to another account, for example, a savings account. When an overdraft happens, the bank uses money from the linked account and puts it in your checking account to cover a transaction. You will end up paying a small fee for this service. Banks can also charge another fee from your checking account if an overdraft transaction is paid by a credit card connected to your account.
