ACH or bank payments

All about ACH or Bank Payments

Written by Faith Grady

We encourage you to use your bank account (or ACH payment) as your primary payment method on Fluz. When you pay with these methods, you get at least 1% more cashback than if you were to pay with a debit card, credit card, or digital wallet.

Note: If you pay partially with bank payments and use your Fluz balance for the rest, the 1% additional cashback only applies to the bank payment portion.

Since ACH payments take a few days to settle, a hold may be placed on your backup payment method for the same amount. When the ACH payment clears, the hold is released. If the ACH payment does not settle, your backup payment method will be charged for the amount of the original transaction, plus any applicable fees.

Fluz will never charge you twice for the same transaction. If your bank has not yet reflected the released hold, please wait up to 5 business days. If the hold still hasn't fallen off, please reach out to our Support team.

I paid with my bank account or ACH, but my backup was charged.

Since ACH payments take a few days to settle, the app will sometimes require a backup payment method in case there are issues with settlement. If you are charged for both payment methods, please reach out to our Support team and we'll be happy to check for you.

How do I add a bank account as my payment or withdrawal method?

Linking a payment method enables you to purchase on the app, while linking a withdrawal method enables you to withdraw your Fluz Balance. We only accept checking or savings accounts.

On the App: Tap your avatar icon (top left) > Funding Sources > Add new > Bank Account, then follow the prompts.

On the Website: Tap your avatar icon (top right) > Accounts and Cards > scroll to Bank Accounts > Add New, then follow the prompts.

I'm trying to connect my bank account but I can't find it.

Our bank connecting system has an extensive list of partner banks. If you don't see your bank, search for it in the search bar. If it still doesn't appear, try adding another bank account or connecting a different payment method.

How do I unlink my bank account?

On the App: Tap your avatar icon (top left) > Funding Sources > scroll to Connected Accounts > select the bank account > Remove.

On the Website: Tap your avatar icon (top right) > Accounts and Cards > scroll to Bank Accounts > select account > Remove.
