All about digital gift cards, where to find my gift cards

We are always working to make your Fluz experience better. So here are some frequently asked questions about gift cards:

Where are my gift cards? And how do I access my past purchases?

All your purchased gift cards can be found in the Menu (your avatar) icon on the top right of your screen, then click Gift Card Purchases.

This page will default to your ACTIVE gift cards or gift cards that have not been used or still have value. If you want to see details on the gift cards that you've already used, tap on INACTIVE.

Click on the gift card you want to use, you may be prompted to enter your four (4) digit security passcode or Face/Touch ID.

What is the maximum denomination or amount I can buy for a gift card?

Each gift card brand (or what we call merchant) has its own policies on the minimum and maximum dollar amount allowed for each gift card purchase.

If your final bill or purchase amount is higher than the maximum denomination for a single gift card purchase, you can always purchase multiple gift cards* to complete your transaction.

Note that aside from the maximum denomination cap, merchants also have varying daily/ weekly spending limits. If you have exceeded either, you will see this in the app before checking out and your purchase will be unable to go through.

*Please make sure to check the specific merchant gift card terms and conditions, if they accept multiple gift cards as a payment method.

How are my gift cards delivered, and how long does it take?

Your gift cards will be delivered directly to your app within a few seconds of purchasing. There you will find the full e-gift card number, the PIN for making purchases online, and the barcode for purchasing in-store.

We’ll also send you an order confirmation email with your purchase details. This email would contain:

Your Order #

Your Purchase Date

Your Purchase Amount

Your Cash Back Percentage

Your Payment Method

What if I want a physical gift card instead of a digital gift card

Fluz does not currently support an option to receive physical gift cards. The code representing your Fluz gift card will always be viewable within your purchases.

What if I prefer not to hand over my phone to the merchant, especially if I’m at a restaurant?

You can write down your Fluz gift card code and pin, and inform the merchant that you are using a gift card as the form of payment.

What if the merchant won’t honor my gift card?

All participating merchants should be aware of the Fluz cash back app. However, you can also let the merchant know to treat the barcode or code number as they would when a standard gift card is the form of payment.

If you need more assistance, tap on the Menu (your avatar) icon on the top right of your screen. Tap on HELP. From there, you can submit a customer support ticket by clicking CHAT WITH US or EMAIL US. Please include the store number or location in your message so we can contact the merchant directly. We typically respond to most feedback and questions within 1-3 business days.

I purchased a gift card from the wrong merchant. Can I replace this with another merchant gift card?

All gift cards purchased from the Fluz App are non-refundable. We've made sure to clearly state this in the checkout screen prior to finalizing your purchase. Unfortunately, we are unable to replace your gift card once the transaction has been made. Before purchasing your gift cards, please make sure to double-check the following:

  • The merchant you're going to purchase from.

  • The gift card amount.

Are Fluz gift cards refundable?

Gift cards purchased from Fluz are individual merchant gift cards. They are not "Fluz gift cards".

All gift cards purchased from Fluz are considered final. As stated in the app, gift cards purchased from Fluz are non-refundable, except where required by law.

What happens to my Fluz gift card for a merchant that goes out of business?

In the case that a Fluz merchant goes out business, any gift cards you may have with that merchant will be defunct. It is not the responsibility of Fluz to alert you when a merchant has started the bankruptcy process, nor is it the responsibility of Fluz to reimburse you for any remaining gift card balance you have for that merchant after it has halted operations.

Help, my gift card code never appeared!

Your purchased gift card code should appear immediately after you enter your checkout amount and confirm your purchase with your 4-digit passcode or Face/Touch ID.

All your purchased gift cards can be found in the Menu (your avatar) icon on the top right of your screen, then click Gift Card Purchases.

To use Fluz, you must have a stable internet connection. If you still do not see your gift card details, please contact one of our Fluz sidekicks at +1 646-760-7479.

Help, the gift card barcode wouldn't scan!

We apologize for any issues you may have encountered while using your purchased gift cards.

If your gift card will not scan at the register, ask the cashier to manually enter the numerical gift card number listed under the gift card QR code or barcode.

If you’re unable to use the gift card code at checkout, the balance is still stored and can be used for a future purchase from that retailer.
