Updating My Gift Card Balance on the Fluz app

  1. All your purchased gift cards can be found by selecting the Menu (your avatar) icon on the top left of your screen, then tapping on My Gift Cards.

In the My Gift Cards page, you will see two tabs:

  • Active - for gift cards that need to be updated or can still be used

  • Inactive - for gift cards that have been updated and marked as spent, thus can no longer be used

2. Click on the gift card you want to update. You may be prompted to enter your 4-digit PIN or Face/Touch ID.

3. Click on "Update" found at the bottom of the screen. If you know you've spent the whole amount, enter "Mark As Spent" and tap on "Done," which puts the gift card under the "Inactive" tab.

4. You can also "Enter Amount Spent" if you didn't use up the whole amount, or you can simply "Enter Remaining Balance". Click "Update" and then "Done".

This tracker only helps you keep tabs on your gift card balance. The actual amount in the gift card may differ. To check the actual gift card balance, you can Google the gift card balance checker of your specific merchant. Please enter the gift card number and pin shown in the Fluz App.

I accidentally marked my gift card as spent. How can I retrieve the details or undo this?

Here's how to move gift cards from "Inactive" back to "Active".

  1. Find your previously purchased gift cards via the Menu (your avatar) icon on the top left of your screen, then tap on My Gift Cards. Your spent gift card will be under the "Inactive" tab.

  2. Click on the gift card you want to check. When prompted, enter 4 digit PIN or Face/Touch ID.

  3. Click on "Update Balance" found at the bottom of the screen. Press "Undo", then "Done." The gift card will now be moved back to the "Active" tab.

Active - for gift cards that need to be updated or can still be used

Inactive - for gift cards that have been updated and marked as spent, thus can no longer be used

  1. To find your gift cards, click on the cards icon in the top left of the screen.

  2. Select Gift Cards. You will automatically be shown you active cards.

  3. Once you've used the gift card and would like to mark it as spent, click on the box next to gift card you would like updated.

  4. Click on the Mark as spent icon on the bottom of the screen, and your card should be sent to the Inactive section.

  5. If you would like to update a certain amount that you purchased, you can click on the gift card you wish to update. It will show you a prompt with the amount you bought the card for. Underneath, you will see Edit balance. Apply the amount you spent or the remaining balance, then click Update Balance.

I accidentally marked my gift card as spent. How can I retrieve the details or undo this?

  1. Follow previous steps until step number 3.

  2. On the top right of the page, you will see the Active icon. Once you click on it, you will have the option to press Inactive. Click on that option.

  3. It will bring you to all your previous gift cards you purchased. Click on the gift card that you would like to reactive. Click the Mark as active option in the bottom left of the screen.

  4. You will get a confirmation message, and the card will be returned to the active section of the website.
