If you use your Fluz funds to make a purchase on Fluz and those funds don’t cover the full transaction amount, you can use a secondary funding source.

Secondary funding sources can include:

  • ACH or bank account

  • Credit or debit card

  • PayPal

  • Apple or Google Pay

[Please note that certain secondary funding sources may incur additional fees.]

Can I choose to not select a secondary funding source?

Yes, you can opt out of selecting a secondary funding source, but if your Fluz funds do not cover the full amount, the transaction will be declined or you will not be able to proceed.

If you toggle off the option to apply your Fluz funds, then your secondary funding source becomes your primary funding source.

What is the difference between a secondary funding source and a backup payment method?

A secondary funding source allows you to combine an externally linked account with your Fluz balances to cover the full transaction amount you are making on Fluz.

A backup funding source ensures that if there were any issues with the funding source you selected, that another funding source could be charged to make sure the transaction goes through smoothly.
