How to redeem, check balance, terms & help desk, rideshare, transportation, travel

How to redeem your Lyft gift card:

  • In-app:

    1. Open your Lyft app and tap the menu icon (top left corner)

    2. Tap on Gift cards

    3. Scroll down and enter your Gift card number and tap on Redeem

    4. Enter your 8-digit PIN and tap on Redeem

    5. The amount will be reflected on your Lyft Cash balance

    NOTE: If you don’t see the gift card icon, tap ‘Payment’ in the menu, then tap the Gift card icon.

  • Online:

    1. On the browser version of Lyft, click on the menu icon (top right corner)

    2. Click on Gift cards

    3. Click and select Redeem gift card

    4. Enter your Gift card number and the 8-digit PIN and click on Redeem

    5. The amount will be reflected on your Lyft Cash balance

    NOTE: Scroll down to view your gift card history including all redeemed gift cards.

How to check your balance:

  • In-app:

    1. Tap the menu icon (top left corner)

    2. Go to the ‘Payment’ tab and your Lyft Cash balance will be at the top

Abridged terms and conditions:

  • You still need to have a default payment method in the Lyft app, even when you’re using a gift card.

  • Lyft gift cards are redeemable in the US only.
