face ID, touch ID

To make check-out faster, Fluz has added the Face ID (or Touch ID) feature. Learn more about it here:

Fluz' Face ID feature allows for a faster transaction time when completing a purchase in the Fluz app.

As an added layer of security during check-out, users are prompted to type in their 4-digit PIN to confirm their purchase. This feature will give users the option to use Face ID (or Touch ID) for a more efficient purchasing experience.

Is Face ID available for all Fluz users?

This is available for users who have the Face (Touch) ID capability on their mobile devices.

We always recommend that you download the latest version of the app to maximize your Fluz experience.

How to use the Face ID feature during check-out:

1. On the merchant page, enter or choose the amount of the gift card you will purchase

2. Tap on Review to confirm the gift card amount and funding source. We recommend that you use your bank account or your debit card as your funding source

3. Once you have reviewed the purchase details, tap on Confirm

4. The Face (Touch) ID window will appear to complete the purchase and bring you to the gift card page

Note: For Face ID, if the camera is unable to recognize you, you will be prompted to type in your 4-digit PIN instead. Same applies to Touch ID if the pad does not recognize the fingerprint.

How to enable or disable the Face ID feature:

1. On the home page, tap on the Menu ≡ icon an the top right of the screen

2. Tap on Privacy & Security

3. Toggle on or off the button next to the Face ID option

Note: Depending on your mobile device's capability, this option is labeled Touch ID.

4. Type in your 4-digit PIN to confirm
