What email address will the prepaid card come from?
The email is sent from [email protected].
What should I tell the recipient to search for in their inbox?
Have them search for the subject line "You've received a virtual prepaid card" or emails from [email protected]. They should also check their spam and trash folders.
What does the freeze date mean?
The freeze date is the deadline for claiming and using the card. The recipient must claim the link and use the card before end of day (UTC) on the freeze date. After that, the card will no longer work.
Can I resend the prepaid card email?
Yes — contact Fluz support and we can resend the email. For security purposes, it can only be resent to the original recipient's email address.
Can the recipient use the card without Apple Pay or Google Pay?
Yes. For online purchases, the recipient can manually enter the card number, expiration, and CVV at checkout. Apple Pay or Google Pay is only needed for in-store tap-to-pay. Alternatively, some retailers offer their own digital wallet options (like Walmart Pay) or buy-online-pick-up-in-store.
Does the card connect to the recipient's bank account?
No. The card is funded by the sender's Fluz account. It does not link to or draw from the recipient's bank account in any way.
Can one card be shared across multiple staff members?
No. Once a Prepaid Virtual Card link is claimed, it is tied to that person's Fluz account. If you need cards for multiple people, send a separate card to each recipient.
Can I reissue the card if the link was never used?
Contact Fluz support to discuss options. If the card was never claimed, we may be able to assist.
What happens if the recipient misses the deadline?
If the recipient does not claim or use the card before the freeze date, the card will no longer be accessible. Contact Fluz support if you need help with next steps.
