How to send a Prepaid Virtual Card

Send a Prepaid Virtual Card, share card, email prepaid card, freeze date, recipient instructions, how to send

Written by Faith Grady

You can send a Prepaid Virtual Card to anyone by email or shareable link. The card is funded from your Fluz account, the recipient will not need to connect a bank account or payment method.

How sending works

When you send a Prepaid Virtual Card, the recipient receives an email or link to claim the card. Once claimed, the recipient can view the card details and start using it right away.

What the recipient needs to know

• To use online: The recipient can enter the card number, expiration date, and CVV at checkout

• To use in store: The recipient will need to add the card to a digital wallet (Apple Pay, Google Pay, or a store-specific wallet like Walmart Pay).

• Adding the card to another device may require a one-time passcode (OTP) sent to the person who originally claimed the card.

If the recipient can't find the email

Have them try the following:

  1. Search their inbox for emails from [email protected]

  2. Search for the subject line "You've received a virtual prepaid card"

  3. Check their spam and trash folders

  4. If the email still can't be found, contact Fluz support
