Please note: Some merchants may not qualify even if their category looks right. Cashback applies based on how the merchant codes the transaction. If a hotel chain processes a charge under a non-travel MCC, that transaction earns 0%. If a charge is split (for example, a hotel bill that includes a non-eligible upcharge), only the eligible portion earns cashback.
