Below are questions about payments:

Can I make a purchase with both Fluz and cash or bank card at a merchant?

Yes, some retailers allow multiple payment methods when purchasing. After paying with Fluz, if you still have a remaining balance required to complete the transaction, you can use cash, bank card, or any other method of payment that the retailer accepts.

If you would like to earn cash back for the full purchase amount, then we recommend that you purchase the whole amount gift card for that merchant.

Also keep in mind that if you use cash or a payment method not designated by Fluz as valid for cash back, you will not receive any additional rewards for the remaining balance on that purchase.

Free Round-Up & Round up Abuse

Fluz offers free "round-ups" for select merchants. You are only charged the amount you purchases but Fluz rounds up your gift card to the nearest dollar.

The free "Round-Up" Fluz offers on some purchases / withdraw methods is not to be abused.

"Abuse" of this feature can be characterized by the following:

  • Purposely purchasing multiple low value gift cards within a short amount of time to obtain several Round-Up bonuses.

  • Making multiple low value virtual card withdrawals within a short amount of time to obtain several Round-Up bonuses.

The Round-Up feature is meant to be a small bonus to our members with the condition that buyers are attempting to get as close to the total purchase amount that they can.

For instance, if your purchase total is $74.37 then you should type that value into the app. If you get rounded up to $75.00, then that is perfectly acceptable.

However, purchasing many smaller codes to get a free round up bonus on each code for the same order would constitute abuse.

Those members that abuse the Round-Up may see their accounts banned, their cash back balance revoked, their gift cards cancelled or not refunded, and could also have their bank cards charged for the amount of Round-up bonuses they illegitimately claimed.
