The new Cash balance top-up feature is available for that max spending and saving experience with Fluz. Learn more about it below:

Our new Cash Balance, also called Cash Top Up, functionality allows users to add and hold funds in their Fluz wallet. The funds can be used to buy digital gift cards, generate 1-time virtual cards, and transfer funds via peer-to-peer payments (feature coming soon), to maximize your Fluz experience.

We created a For Benefit Of account with our partner bank. We can then offer our members virtual accounts underneath that.

A user must complete legal identity verification to be eligible for a cash balance account. This is because AML/KYC regulations require us to confirm more information about your identity to be able to hold a “for benefit of account”.

Now, users will essentially have a Fluz wallet made up of 2 sub-wallets: 1) cash balance from your top-ups and 2) rewards balance from cashback, referral royalties, and bonuses.

Here are the steps for completing a cash balance top-up on the mobile app:

1. Tap on the Fluz wallet icon at the top left of the screen

2. Tap on Move Money

3. Select Deposit to Fluz by tapping on it

4. Select and review the Funding source

You can change your funding source by tapping on the grey bar and selecting from the list of available funding sources.

5. Enter the amount you want to deposit

6. Tap on Review and Confirm

You can edit your deposit by tapping on Edit when you are on the review screen. Once you are ready to proceed, tap on Confirm.
