Log in or sign up to a GTA account.
Choose the game you would like to use your gift card code. Select, 'Use Rockstar Code'.
Enter your gift card code and click 'Activate'. Or while in the game, tap 'HOME key', go to Store tab and use gift code.
Troubleshooting:
What can I do if I get an error message stating that my code is invalid or
already used when trying to activate my version of the game?
Verify that you are entering the code exactly as it is shown. When entering your code directly into the game, dashes should appear automatically on your screen.
If you are entering your code on the Social Club Activation web page, be sure to type out any dashes. Take care when copy/pasting as it can add spaces into the code. If your issue is still not resolved, please submit a support request to GTA Online Support.
2. How can I activate Shark Cash Cards for Grand Theft Auto Online through the Epic Games Launcher?
Players that own PC GTAV through the Epic Games store can purchase Shark Cards or redeem Shark Card codes as follows:

Shark Cards grant you in-game currency in GTA Online ($GTA). You must purchase them using fiat money (like USD) and redeem them in-game.
You can immediately redeem the Shark Card PS4, Shark Card Xbox One and the Shark Card PC. Open the PlayStation Store on your console, select the option “Redeem codes” in the menu and enter your code. You can also redeem via the Rockstar Social Club website or by using the main menu in the game.
