What is instant access, deposit to Fluz, cash balance, funds, settlement period

When depositing into your Fluz account, funds do not move instantaneously from your bank to your Fluz Wallet. It can take between 2-5 business days for these funds to settle. To ease this process along, we provide users Instant Access to some of their funds even though they are still in transit.

Note: Although you may get instant access to funds deposited, the transfer from your bank to your Fluz account may take up to 5 business days. Please ensure you have adequate funds in your original funding source for this period to prevent a transfer failure. A transfer failure happens when a scheduled transfer is canceled for insufficient funds or a variety of other reasons.

How much Instant Access is available to me?

The maximum amount of instant access available to a user is $20,000.

The $20,000 Instant Access allotment works on a rolling period basis. It will replenish when any deposits made have been finalized. The amount of Instant Access you have access to depends on the allotment available in your account at the time you initiate a deposit.

Partial access

If you've previously used up too much of your instant access allotment to fully cover a new deposit, you will only receive partial instant access to your deposited funds. The amount you receive for partial instant access can be found in the Fluz app or via email.

Funds in transit

If you are making a deposit in excess of your $20,000 Instant Access allotment, the funds will reflect on your Fluz account depending on the settlement period of your funding source. You will see an "In Transit" status for these funds in your Fluz Wallet.

What is the settlement period for Cash Balance Deposit?

Once you confirm your deposit, you are given an allotment of $20,000 in Instant Access, which is reflected in your Fluz wallet instantly. Anything in excess of this will be "In Transit", and will reflect in your Fluz account following the table below.
