Go to League of Legends client or go to signup.leagueoflegends.com to create an account.
Click on the 'Store' button. Click on the 'Purchase RP' button.
Select 'Prepaid Cards' and enter your code then click 'Submit.'
Your Riot Points have been added to your account.
Troubleshooting:
THIS CODE DOES NOT APPEAR TO BE VALID
The code that you have entered is invalid and does not exist within the systems. Please double check the scratch off code on the back of your card to ensure that you have typed in the number correctly. Do not include any spaces when you type in your code. For example, rather than typing in 123 456 789, your code should look like 123456789.
THIS CODE APPEARS TO NOT BE PROPERLY ACTIVATED
If you receive this error message, it indicates that this code was not appropriately activated during the point of sale, causing you to be unable to redeem the RP or VP successfully through the store. Unfortunately, because this activation process is the sole responsibility of the merchant, you will have to return to the store to ensure that your card is activated properly.
THIS CODE HAS ALREADY BEEN REDEEMED
If you receive this error message, it indicates that this code was not appropriately activated during the point of sale, causing you to be unable to redeem the RP or VP successfully through the store. Unfortunately, because this activation process is the sole responsibility of the merchant, you will have to return to the store to ensure that if you have shared the pin code with anyone else, you were gifted this card, or you purchased the card through a third party vendor, the code may have already been previously redeemed. Riot’s prepaid gift cards are a convenient way to purchase Riot’s in-game currency without the need for a credit card or bank account. These cards can be purchased digitally online or at local retailers, and they can be redeemed by entering the card’s pin code in the in-client store.
Unused balances are nontransferable. Upon redemption of the card, you will be required to accept the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy available at leagueoflegends.com, and all use of the card and League of Legends will be subject to those terms. The full value of the card is deducted when you redeem the PIN code.
Locations:
Remember that the cards are PC-Only and are region locked, meaning if you purchase a card in Australia or New Zealand, that card will only be redeemable on the OCE server. Similarly, if you purchase a card in the United States or Canada, the card will only be redeemable in the NA server.
North American cards are only redeemable on the “North American” server for League of Legends.
