If you or your family have multiple Microsoft accounts, make sure you're signed in to the one to which you want to apply the gift card or code. Money can't be transferred from one Microsoft account to another and can't be converted from one currency to another. For more info, see Limits on the money in your Microsoft account.

Try signing in to your Microsoft account using an InPrivate browser session to clear all other Microsoft account info from the cache. See Browse InPrivate in Microsoft Edge for more info.

Microsoft 365 plans are available in most countries/regions. In countries/regions where Microsoft 365 plans are not available, you can still buy an Office 2019 suite, a one-time purchase which includes 2019 versions of the Office apps, but no additional security or storage features. When buying Microsoft 365, it’s important that you select the country/region in which you will be billed and in which you’ll use the software. Selecting a different country/region may cause problems with subscription setup and renewal.
