How to redeem, check balance, terms & help desk.

How to Redeem:

  • Mobile/Desktop:

    1. During checkout, select ‘Add a Gift/Bonus Card, Virtual Event Code'.

    2. Enter your gift card code and PIN then click, 'Add Your Card'.

    3. Your gift card balance will be applied to your order total.

  • In-App

    1. Open app, sign-up or sign-in to a MyPanera account. Tap the Tab button, select 'Profile & Settings.'

    2. Select 'Payment & Gift Cards,' tap 'Add Gift/Bonus Card'.

    3. Enter gift card code and PIN then tap, 'Save'.

  • In-store

    1. Show your gift card to the cashier and allow them to scan it.

    2. If scanner issues arise, instruct them to enter the digits manually.


How to check your balance:

  • Mobile/Desktop:

    1. Enter your gift card code and PIN here. Then select 'Check Balance'.

    2. Your current gift card balance will be displayed.

    3. Note: If your gift card does not have a PIN, please visit your local bakery-cafe and an associate will be happy to check the balance at the register. For Canadian Gift Cards, check your balance at any Panera Bread Bakery-Cafe in Canada.

  • In-App:

    1. Tap the tab button, tap ‘Profile & Settings’ and select ‘Payment & Gift Card.’

    2. Under ‘GIFT CARDS,’ the remaining balance of your gift card will be displayed.

  • In-store:

    1. Present gift card to cashier.

    2. Ask cashier to check its balance.

    3. If scanner issues arise instruct them to enter the code manually.

Abridged terms and conditions:

  • Panera Bread gift cards do not expire.

  • Locations:

    • Gift cards can be used at any United States Panera Bread bakery cafes. Gift cards with a PIN can also be used for online orders and the Panera App .

    • Canadian gift cards can only be used at Canadian bakery cafes. These cards have a small red maple leaf on the back of the gift card.
