How to Redeem:

  • Mobile/Desktop

    1. During checkout, under ‘Payment,’ select ‘Apply a Target GiftCard.’

    2. Enter your digital e-gift card code and gift card access code.

    3. Your balance will be deducted from your total.

  • In-app:

    1. During checkout, tap ‘Add GiftCard.’

    2. Enter your digital e-gift card code and PIN.

    3. Tap ‘Redeem.’

  • In-store:
    ​
    ​With Cashier

    1. Show your digital gift card/ barcode to the cashier and allow them to scan it.

    2. If scanner issues arise, instruct them to enter the digits manually.
      ​

    Self Checkout

    1. If going through Self Checkout, select the Giftcard option on the screen.

    2. Scan the barcode.

    3. Input your access code or PIN.

Troubleshooting:

  1. You may also download the Target app and "load" your gift card into your Target wallet.

  2. Tap on the Wallet button, select Edit Wallet.

  3. Tap the + button under Gift Cards.

  4. Enter your gift card code and access code/ PIN.

  5. Tap Save and show the Wallet barcode to the cashier.

How to check your balance:

  • Mobile/Desktop:

    1. Enter your e-gift card code and access code here.

  • In-app:

    1. Open your Target app. Tap the Profile button and select ‘Gift cards.’

    2. If you’ve made a purchase and there is a remaining balance, it will show there.

    3. If you’ve not made a purchase, tap the ‘+’ button, enter your digital e-gift card code and PIN.

Abridged terms and conditions:

  • You can use up to 10 gift card codes per transaction.

  • Gift Card PIN may be referred to as 'access code.'

  • Target GiftCards don’t expire, and don’t lose value over time, even if this is printed on gift card.

  • Not redeemable for:

    • To make RedCard payment(s) .

    • To purchase iTunes gift cards.

    • To purchase specialty gift cards (gaming, restaurants, etc.)

    • At Minute Clinics within Target stores.

    • Online at Target Optical (Target GiftCards can be used for in-store purchases with Target Optical.)

  • Locations:

    • Target GiftCards can be redeemed, for all or part of their value, anywhere in a Target store or on Target.com. Target eGiftCards include a bar code that can be scanned in-store and can also be used on Target.com.

  • Visa Program (475436) - Online transactions will have a cashback rate of 0% always.
