How to Redeem:
Mobile/Desktop
During checkout, under ‘Payment,’ select ‘Apply a Target GiftCard.’
Enter your digital e-gift card code and gift card access code.
Your balance will be deducted from your total.
In-app:
During checkout, tap ‘Add GiftCard.’
Enter your digital e-gift card code and PIN.
Tap ‘Redeem.’
In-store:
With CashierShow your digital gift card/ barcode to the cashier and allow them to scan it.
If scanner issues arise, instruct them to enter the digits manually.
Self Checkout
If going through Self Checkout, select the Giftcard option on the screen.
Scan the barcode.
Input your access code or PIN.
Troubleshooting:
You may also download the Target app and "load" your gift card into your Target wallet.
Tap on the Wallet button, select Edit Wallet.
Tap the + button under Gift Cards.
Enter your gift card code and access code/ PIN.
Tap Save and show the Wallet barcode to the cashier.
How to check your balance:
Mobile/Desktop:
In-app:
Open your Target app. Tap the Profile button and select ‘Gift cards.’
If you’ve made a purchase and there is a remaining balance, it will show there.
If you’ve not made a purchase, tap the ‘+’ button, enter your digital e-gift card code and PIN.
Abridged terms and conditions:
You can use up to 10 gift card codes per transaction.
Gift Card PIN may be referred to as 'access code.'
Target GiftCards don’t expire, and don’t lose value over time, even if this is printed on gift card.
Not redeemable for:
To make RedCard payment(s) .
To purchase iTunes gift cards.
To purchase specialty gift cards (gaming, restaurants, etc.)
At Minute Clinics within Target stores.
Online at Target Optical (Target GiftCards can be used for in-store purchases with Target Optical.)
Locations:
Target GiftCards can be redeemed, for all or part of their value, anywhere in a Target store or on Target.com. Target eGiftCards include a bar code that can be scanned in-store and can also be used on Target.com.
