How to redeem, check balance, terms & help desk

How to Redeem:

  • Mobile/Desktop:

    1. During checkout, under ‘Payment,’ select ‘Redeem a gift card or bonus card.’

    2. Enter your gift code and PIN. Select ‘Redeem card.’

    3. Your gift card balance will be deducted from your total.

  • In-app:

    1. During checkout, tap ‘Gift Cards.’

    2. Enter your gift card code and PIN. Tap ‘Apply Card.’

    3. Your gift card balance will be deducted from your total.

  • In-store:

    1. Let the cashier know you are paying with a gift card. Show your gift card code and PIN during checkout.

    2. Your total will be deducted by your gift card balance.

How to check your balance:

  • Mobile/Desktop:

    1. After reading instructions, click here.

    2. Enter your gift card code and PIN. Click ‘VIEW BALANCE.’

    3. Your current gift card balance will be displayed.

  • In-store:

    1. Ask the cashier to check a gift card balance

    2. Scan your bar code or show your gift code or pin.

Abridged terms and conditions:

  • REI Gift Card does not expire.

  • Not redeemable for:

    • Your gift card balance can’t be used to purchase used gear, REI classes and events, REI Adventures, shipping charges, return labels, exchanges, memberships, passes and tickets, shop services, back-ordered items or to purchase goods on our Corporate Group Sales business channel, and other gift cards.

  • Locations:

    • Your gift card balance can only be redeemed at REI stores in the United States in US Dollars.
