How to Redeem:
Mobile/Desktop:
During checkout, select ‘Apply a gift card’ under ‘Payment.’
Enter your gift card code and PIN.
Select ‘apply.’
Your balance will be deducted from your total.
In-app:
During checkout, tap ‘Add gift card’ under ‘Payment.’
Enter your gift card code and PIN.
Tap ‘Done.’
Your balance will be deducted from your total.
In-store:
Let the cashier know you are paying with a gift card.
Show your gift card code and PIN during checkout.
Your total will be deducted by your balance.
How to check your balance:
Mobile/Desktop:
Enter your gift card code and PIN.
Click ‘check balance.’
In-app:
Open your JC Penney app.
Tap ‘me’ at the bottom right.
Tap ‘My wallet’, then tap ‘Gift cards.’
Once you've redeemed your gift card code, your remaining balance will be shown.
In-store:
Ask the cashier to check a gift card balance
Show your gift card code and PIN.

You can use up to 10 gift card codes per transaction.
Your balance can be redeemed at jcpenney.com and in JCPenney stores in the U.S or PR for merchandise and services.
