How to redeem, check balance, terms & help desk

How to redeem your Instacart gift card:

  • Mobile/Desktop:

    1. Sign up for Instacart or log into your existing account

    2. Click "Account" or your name in the top right-hand corner

    3. Click "Add promo or gift card"

    4. Enter the code and click "Continue"

  • In-app:

    1. Sign up for Instacart or log into your existing account

    2. Tap the three horizontal lines in the top left-hand corner

    3. Tap "Credits, promos & gift cards"

    4. Tap "Add promo or gift card"

    5. Enter the code and tap "Add to Account"

Troubleshooting Step:

  • If you are having issues redeeming the code, please try again after a few hours. Gift cards may take up to 24 hours to activate.

  • If you are having issues when entering the code, please try again entering the PIN instead.

How to check your balance:

  • Mobile/Desktop:

    1. Click your name in the top right-hand corner

    2. Click "Your Account"

    3. Click "Credits, promos & gift cards"

    4. Look under "Gift card credit"

  • In-app:

    1. Tap the three horizontal lines in the top left-hand corner

    2. Tap "Credits, promos & gift cards"

    3. Look under "Gift card credit

Any remaining gift card credits will automatically apply to your following order.

Abridged terms and conditions:

  • You can use up to 1 gift card code per transaction.
